Casa Porvenir's beach house (La Casita) and palapa (El Nido) are situated on a large, landscaped property with an abundance of trees and flowers.

Water in La Casita and El Nido is processed by a filtration, softening and ultraviolet system making it soft and soothing for showers. While the water is processed to be potable, it is advisable to drink the purified bottled water that is provided. You may wish to prepare some or all of your meals in the full kitchen at La Casita or the kitchenette at El Nido. Coffee and tea are provided. Food, liquor, beer, wine, and other supplies may be purchased at the Bodega or Comercial, fully equipped supermarkets in Zihuatanejo, on the way from the airport or at convenience stores in Zihuatanejo or Troncones. Housekeeping service assures that, without the tasks of daily living, the day and night are truly yours. Laundry service may be arranged at an extra cost.

There are several restaurants on the beach within easy walking distance serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.
There are tipico restaurants (food typical of the area), also within walking distance, serving lunch and dinner in the nearby fishing village of Majahua.
There are a number of other restaurants one and one-half to two miles away, to the south, in the village of Troncones. You may choose from a wide variety of cuisine including Mexican, Continental, Italian and American. Local fish and seafood, lobster, shrimp, squid and octopus are always available, though the fare may vary somewhat by the season.
